The Dynatrace community is your first and fastest resource to advise you, and in which you can get answers to your questions or problems. Self-service entry can reduce or even eliminate the waiting time a support technician must follow. Access to the Dynatrace customer portal is available at www.dynatrace.com/services-support/. Below are some of the features of the Dynatrace customer portal: Monitoring Dynatrace applications and infrastructure is provided by installing a single Dynatrace OneAgent on each monitored host in your environment. OneAgent is allowed per host (virtual or physical server). Dynatrace customers, up to date with their maintenance costs, have the right to obtain all new versions of licensed software products as soon as they are widely available and are entitled to receive all updates and updates to licensed software, including product documentation updates. For more information on Dynatrace support, see www.dynatrace.com/services-support/. Additional terms and conditions may apply to the acquisition of services or the use of certain features on the site. B (for example, participating in Dynatrace online community forums). In the event of a conflict between these Terms of Use and the Terms published or applicable to a specific part of the Site or Service, these Terms will be monitored with respect to your use of that part of the Site or the particular Service. If you have a separate paid agreement with us for certain services, the terms of that agreement will check whether they conflict with those conditions. Dynatrace Application Security is licensed based on the consumption of application security units.
The number of application security units consumed by an environment is based on the amount of RAM from a monitored server (see table below) and the number of hours of monitoring of these application security units. For example, to run Application Security for a 16GB host for a year, you need 9,000 application security units [1 (Application Security Unit) x 365 (Days) x 24 (Hours) – 9,000 (Application Security Units)). For more information, see the chart below. Dynatrace LLC 1601 Trapelo Road, #116 Waltham, MA 02451 USA legalnotices@dynatrace.com Note that Azure services, run in the Azure App Service plan, will be licensed based on the number and size of virtual computer instances, regardless of the number of applications running on the instance. Suppose a user has been continuously interacting with a web application or mobile app for 4 hours. From a licensing perspective, a session ends after 60 minutes of continuous interaction, and then a new session continues for the next 60 minutes. Therefore, a 4-hour session is equivalent to 4 licensed meetings. Without session replay data, this session costs 4 -0.25 – 1 unit of DEM. For session replay data, the session costs 4-1 – 4 units of DEM.
