Jack S: You`ll find a typical lease on this page: Rental (www.redweek.com/resources/rental_process/rw_sample_rental_agreement.pdf) This is the second experience with redweek. I booked another „verified“ booking. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the resort had about 40 14 days and we couldn`t go for the dates booked in September. We have inquired with Marriott and Interval internationally to rewrite the owner of the part-time operating bank. The Marriott and International Interval have updated the owner with the assurance that it was possible to change bookings. Instead, the owner of the redweek booking would not rewrite Marriott`s temporary action, since the Redweek contract did not specify that he should do so. We filed a complaint with redweek to help us get a change of booking and not allow the owner to keep our money and get a Covid certificate that he could use next year. We explained that we had made a lot of effort to see if it was possible to spend the week without any problems. It was possible to make the booking change. Redweek ended up with the owner and his contract. It was frustrating to know that the inability to go was a check with Covid in Hawaii and that the owner could surround our week and not! So we lost our money. The owner kept our money and had to change his week with his Covid Marriott certificate for personal use.
As a consumer, I don`t think a company should help us get what we paid for when we lost it. It was a very frustrating experience, and I wasn`t going to pass it on. I would go directly through the other companies mentioned, so the booking change is not a problem if you need! I would tend to agree with the contract if the part-time week seller lost his week because of our inability to travel. Due to the fluidity of travel to Hawaii, Marriott and its owners are extremely flexible. They issue Covid certificates so they can make reservations. That is what we are talking about. 1) We wanted to change the seller with his Covid certificate and go through intervals to change the name on the reservation. As the seller took no way of this to change booking, we were checked by Marriott interval, it was possible and not in violation of the rules with these companies. 2) The seller did not want to make a reservation. So he was able to keep our money and receive Marriott Covid`s certificate to change weeks. 3) We filed a complaint with Redweek asking it to share the money with the 50/50 seller.
That`s when we thought it was the best solution to the problems that arise. As he did not book the reservation and we knew he could do so, we ask for help to share the money. We received the same response below. 5) We accept the consequences of the contract if the seller and (we) the buyer lose the week due to the inability to travel. However, we do not agree with Marriott`s flexibility when it comes to continuing the week to the seller. A solution should be at stake when the paid goods are not received and the seller keeps the goods he has sold. That`s unreasonable. Buyers, watch out! My wife and I rented a condo from Don and Belinda Franke on RedWeek. Our rent was in March 2020.
We had to cancel our trip because of COVID 19. The Francs refused to refund the money we had all paid in advance. RedWeek did not provide any assistance, although it was verified. Redweek sold 5 of my week timeshare marriott and entered into a late lease for another property. I can no longer be pleased with the advice they have given and the efforts they have made to complete the negotiation process and reach an agreement.
